HTML Sandbox For iPhone iOS 15 & iOS 14 (No Jailbreak)
While the BlastDoor sandbox makes iMessage more secure, HTML Sandbox For iPhone iOS 15 & iOS 14 No Jailbreak, it does not do much with traditional SMS. Last year in April 2020, text-based bullying was discovered which can be started via regular SMS. A series of characters written in Sindhi when received as SMS can stop iOS completely, rendering one’s iPhone / iPad completely useless until the OS crashes, and the device can be restarted. This has been due to a bug in iOS, which Apple has already fixed, but highlights that short message service format is still a vector that is likely to cause exploitation.

The BlastDoor sandbox for iMessage launched on iOS14 should block some, if not all events and malicious incidents.
