FireStick 4K Review: Verdict
On first inspection you can tell that you have a FireStick – it looks the same as any other Android tablet.
It’s a good bit of kit to have around, especially if you happen to be travelling and have a strong desire to stream Netflix.
However, FireStick is still in beta – and it’s beta software that has significant bugs. It’s way more unstable and far less stable than the official Google apps, which also tend to be more stable.

It’s a good bit of kit to have around, especially if you happen to be travelling and have a strong desire to stream Netflix. But it’s only been out for just over a month. That means there’s still time to fix all the major issues and make FireStick a completely solid VPN device.

The BagTimer
The BagTimer takes the idea of setting a timer on your iPhone or Android device and applies it to your handbag. The idea is you’d use your phone to tell you the exact time you need to put your handbag on. You’d then release the lock on the bag before walking away.
The reason I find this bad is the iPhone and Android operating systems are far more intuitive and far more likely to work that way than a piece of kit that takes its inspiration from a manual for an airport bag tag.
That said, I can see the potential this product has. The Bluetooth connection would be the perfect setup and you can imagine how much fun it would be watching a gadget all of the same design in different colours all around the place.
However, there’s a real danger this product will simply go nowhere. The target market is for a gadget for the paranoid (and it has a nice message on the box as well), Jailbroken FireStick 4K with VPN Alexa Voice Remote, but they’re not exactly a lucrative bunch. We’ll come back to this if and when the BagTimer raises more than a little dust.
