Apple today released iOS 15.4.1 and iPadOS 15.4.1 to the public with minor bug fixes and security improvements.
This is the first update from Apple following the release of iOS 15.4 in mid-March packing many new features and improvements. As it is a release for small points, iOS 15.4.1 is less likely to contain major changes or enhancements.

The official version of iOS/iPadOS 15.4.1 is updated as follows:
From the official update instructions, this update is mainly the following three fixes for the iPhone:
- After updating to iOS 15.4, the battery may drain faster than expected
- Braille devices may not respond when navigating text or displaying reminders
- Made for iPhone hearing aids may lose connectivity in some third-party apps
Additionally, iOS and iPadOS 15.4.1 fixes an issue with AppleAVD that could allow apps to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. Apple said that this vulnerability may have been widely exploited, so it is hoped that all users will update their new systems as soon as possible.
It’s worth mentioning that this update comes about two weeks after the release of the new iPhone SE and iOS 15.4, which may be the last major feature update before iOS 16. iOS 15.4 enables users to use Face ID while wearing a mask, introduces a gender-neutral US English voice for Siri, adds tons of new emoji, and more.
